MedEssist
Overview
MedEssist is a medication reminder application designed to streamline medication management for users, caregivers, and doctors. The app features a versatile scheduling system for reminders, allowing users to set alarms for medication intake on a daily, bi-daily, or weekly basis. It also provides customization options for notes and includes a task list with checkboxes for caregivers. The app includes static pages with essential information and contact details. Developed using Adalo, it offers an intuitive platform for managing medication schedules and maintaining detailed records.
What We Have Done
To bring MedEssist to life, we:
1. Created Two User Types: Developed login functionalities for both users and caregivers/doctors, each with tailored access and management capabilities.
2. Implemented Recurring Notifications: Built a robust notification system that allows users to schedule medication reminders for daily, bi-daily, weekly, or specific times.
3. Added Customizable Notes: Enabled users to add and customize notes for each medication reminder, providing flexibility and personal relevance.
4. Developed a Medication Reminder Form: Integrated a form with options to select medications from an attached database, simplifying the reminder setup process.
5. Designed a General Task List: Created a task list with completion checkboxes for caregivers, which contributes to a dataset for reviewing past year’s tasks.
6. Included Static Information Pages: Added static dataset pages with crucial information, including doctor contact details and medication do’s and don’ts.
